Making the Grade, a very special live music and movie community event!
In collaboration with the Waiheke Community Cinema, Whittakers Musical Museum will host local music teachers and pupils as they perform a short concert before the screening of the award winning Irish documentary, Making the Grade (PG). This gem of a film depicts the charm of students and the passion of teachers. It is a warm and uplifting movie, not to be missed by young or old.
Starting with the concert in Whittakers Musical Museum at 4pm we will then be ushered to the cinema for the 5pm movie. Come and support these students and teachers and then enjoy this heart-warming film about teaching and learning the love of music.
The price of tickets includes both music and movie. We have limited tickets due to cinema size, so buy your ticket early. This event has been organised with help from FLICKS CINEMA Titirangi.
