This pianola is one of the greatest models built with extras such as Transposing. Mandolin attachment. Built in oak with barley-twist decoration.

The pianola works on a pneumatic system using a vacuum created either by foot operated bellows or electric motor. The paper roll runs over a tracker bar ( a metal strip with holes for each note). When a hole in the paper roll passes over the corresponding hole in the tracker bar the vacuum is broken and air rushes down the pneumatic tube and opens the valve. The bellow collapses and this operates the piano action and plays the notes.
